Consolidation Of Data Is Already Happening
The push to streamline isn't a future initiative. It's underway.
One of the clearest signals in this survey data is that healthcare organizations are increasingly consolidating provider eligibility data.
More than 9 out of 10 executives (93%) agree that, over the past few years, their organizations have sought to consolidate provider data redundancies. More than half of those (51%) agree strongly. The same pattern holds for workflow software vendors: 93% agree their organizations have sought to consolidate, with 48% agreeing strongly.
These numbers are striking. This isn't an industry talking about consolidation. It's an industry starting to move.

The value proposition for consolidation is also well understood. Nearly three-quarters of executives (74%) see having consolidated provider eligibility data that plugs into multiple workflows as extremely or very valuable. When asked about a consolidated platform that manages multiple operational workflows across departments, 76% said the same.
When it comes to choosing vendors as part of this consolidation, implementation support tops the priority list at 49%. Security and privacy rank second at 45%; data quality and workflow efficiency rank at 39%; and cost rounds out the top factors at 29%.
Those rankings matter. Organizations aren't just shopping for the most affordable option. They're looking for partners with flexible solutions who can ensure a smooth implementation and keep their data safe. Those criteria speak directly to what makes consolidation succeed or fail in practice.
